Newport Beach, CA (December 12, 2023) – Bob Byrd was hired at Newport Beach-based real estate developer, Westar Associates, as Director of Operations, responsible for overseeing all operations, tenant coordination, and landscaping for Westar Management, Inc. Southern California commercial retail portfolio.
Prior to joining Westar, Bob spent the last 12 years working with and for the Irvine Company Retail Properties division. He acted as the Operations Manager at The Market Place, which is one of three of the Irvine Company’s Regional Centers. “We are very excited to add Bob to our Westar team. He has extensive construction, maintenance, and operations knowledge and experience,” says Mike Wentworth, SVP of Property Management of Westar Management Inc.
Bob was raised in Huntington Beach, California and currently resides in Irvine, California with his wife and dog. He enjoys traveling around the world to tropical locations and exploring nature and underwater sea life.
