A new 33,000-square-foot Target store focused on serving those who work at and attend Cal State Long Beach and the Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System will open in March, a Target spokeswoman said Tuesday.
The smaller-than-usual store at 5760 East Seventh St. will include fresh grocery and grab-and-go options, Target Mobile services where customers can buy cell plans, a Starbucks, in-store pickup for items purchased on Target.com and much of the company’s core offerings of home, apparel, tech, health and beauty and kids/baby merchandise, said Erika Winkels, a Target spokeswoman.
