LADERA RANCH, CA – Stater Bros. Markets is opening its first supermarket in Ladera Ranch, its 30th in Orange County, in a former Gelson’s Market at 25636 Crown Valley Parkway.
The store opens at 7 a.m. Wednesday, June 3. Hours are daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., with 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays reserved for senior shoppers only.
The new store will be led by store manager Maurice Saavedra who has worked with Stater Bros. for nearly 17 years, the company said.
The 48,000-square-foot supermarket will sell fresh meat and fish, bakery, deli, sushi, and has a floral department as well as grab-and-go items.
Stater Bros. Charities also will present donations totaling $30,000 to Family Assistance Ministries, Laura’s House, the YMCA of Ladera Ranch, the James Henry Ransom Foundation, Working Wardrobes and New Beginnings for Animals.
Gelson’s shuttered its Ladera Ranch location in 2018, consolidating its services to a store in Rancho Mission Viejo.
