At Westar, we believe in the power of community and giving back. That’s why we were thrilled to be a proud sponsor of The Freedom Run in Ladera Ranch this year! At the Freedom Run, the community came together to run in the kids Firecracker 1k, and their 5k and 10k runs. The event provided the community with the ability to support local charities through the race registration proceeds and sponsorship opportunities. It was a great way to celebrate the Fourth of July and have a little fun while running the streets of the community. There were also several festivities to support the runners and non-participants at the event with a breakfast and sponsored vendor area during the morning event. We were honored to be a part of such a fantastic initiative, and we look forward to it next year!
