Bixby Village Plaza Expands Dining Lineup with Four New Restaurant Concepts

Long Beach, CA (March 25, 2026) –Westar Associates is excited to share a major milestone in the continued evolution of Bixby Village Plaza in Long Beach. Four well-known restaurant brands—California Fish Grill, The Melt, Luna Grill, and Urbane Café—are coming soon to the newly redeveloped retail building at the corner of 7th Street and Bellflower Boulevard.
This delivery marks the completion of a significant redevelopment project that transformed a former single-tenant CVS pharmacy into four modern, purpose-built restaurant spaces. Westar has officially turned over the spaces to each tenant, with interior buildouts now underway. Openings are anticipated this summer, bringing new energy, variety, and dining options to the community.
Each incoming concept adds a distinct flavor to the center. California Fish Grill will offer sustainably sourced seafood and a California-inspired menu in a relaxed, casual setting. Urbane Café is known for its made-from-scratch sandwiches and salads featuring farm-fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Luna Grill brings Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with a modern twist, while The Melt will serve its elevated comfort food favorites, including gourmet grilled cheeses and burgers.
